Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, and property-related data. We also automatically collect usage data including device information, IP addresses, browser type, and interaction patterns with the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service; process transactions and send related notifications; communicate with you about updates, promotions, and support; analyze usage patterns to improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers who assist in operating the platform (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud); other users as necessary for the Service (e.g., realtors can see showing requests from consumers); and law enforcement when required by law.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), authentication via Firebase Auth, and access controls through Firestore security rules. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Google User Data (Calendar Integration)

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, Dwelln requests access to events on calendars you own and to your Google account email address. We use this data solely to provide the scheduling features you see in the app: reading your events to mark times as unavailable so you cannot be double-booked, and creating, updating, or removing calendar events for appointments booked through Dwelln. Your Google account email is displayed in your settings so you can see which account is linked.

OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database with access restricted to your own account, and all Google Calendar API calls are made from our secure backend — tokens are never exposed to your browser. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties. Disconnecting your calendar in settings revokes Dwelln's access with Google and deletes the stored tokens immediately; you can also remove access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.

Dwelln's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
